22nd Annual Northwest Medical Center Benefit Golf Classic Set for August 8, 2008

Northwest Medical Center's annual fundraising golf event is scheduled for Friday, August 8, at the Albany Country Club.  The hospital is thrilled to welcome back golf entertainer and long drive specialist Dan Boever.  Dan put on a fabulous show at the event's 20th anniversary two years ago and is ready to entertain our players, sponsors, volunteers and special guests again this year!

Sponsorships are now available, including a special package for up to four sponsors to play the first 9 holes with Dan Boever!  If you have an interest in sponsoring and playing in this year's event, please contact event coordinator Chuck Davis at (660) 726-3941 or send an email to chuck.davis@northwestmedicalcenter.net.

Northwest Medical Center Offering Free Senior Fitness Classes

Northwest Medical Center in Albany is offering free senior fitness classes three days per week.  For the summer months, classes will begin at 10:00am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Albany Community Center. 

Classes will be dedicated to strengthening and stretching exercises with some aerobic activity for variety. 

Class participants do not have to be members of the Albany Community Center to participate in these free classes.  In addition, there is no commitment necessary.  You may attend every class or just stop in for classes when you’re able to make it.  If you have questions, please contact Northwest Medical Center’s Community Outreach Coordinator, Connie Worden, at (660) 726-3941.


Northwest Medical Center Now Accepts Credit Cards

In an effort to make paying your hospital and clinic bills, co-pays, and deductibles a little easier, Northwest Medical Center now accepts Mastercard and Visa, as well as debit cards bearing the Mastercard and Visa logos.  If you'd like to make a payment by credit or debit card, please contact the hospital's billing office at (660) 726-3325.

  • Part-time position; 2-3 days per week.
  • CNA or EMT preferred.
  • We're looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills to assist with patient care and registration in the emergency department.
  • Our part-time positions include paid time off and optional participation in the hospital's 401k retirement plan. 
 

Occupational Therapist

  • Full-time opportunity for an occupational therapist to work in our hospital's Rehabilitation Services department.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy and licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.
  • Our complete benefits package includes health, dental, vision, paid child care, vacation and a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution.
